Made in Japan, the Blue Terra maps the universe's vast celestial grid.
This small (8.3" diameter) celestial globe comes from Japan and is made of recycled paper with a steel base. It depicts the mythical figures of ancient Greek constellations, which are then written in English and Japanese.
This style of globe has been produced by a small company in Japan since 1937. The main difference between the two Japanese constellation globes is the steel axis frame present on one of the two globes (see photos).
